GEOPOLITICAL MANIFESTO of Al-Quds Libération daily newspaper

The destiny of humanity in the century of multipolarity

We were born on March 30, 2016, on the sacred Day of Palestinian Land, not as a mere media outlet, but as an act of intellectual resistance from the heart of Al-Quds. Ten years later, we affirm with full conviction that the word, when born from the oppressed people, can become a historical force capable of disputing the very meaning of the world. In an era marked by narrative wars, algorithmic censorship, and symbolic colonization, Al-Quds Libération Daily has ceased to be an informative platform to become a school of consciousness, a cultural front, an instrument of liberation, and a sovereign voice of the Global South.

This manifesto is not a protocol celebration. It is a declaration of historical continuity. It is a response to media imperialism, political Eurocentrism, and the architecture of silence that has attempted to turn Palestine into a footnote of universal history. We respond with memory, with rigor, with strategic vision, and with an irreducible certainty: Palestine is not a secondary cause; Palestine is the moral axis of our time.

I. The land as historical truth

March 30, 1976, was inscribed in the memory of the Palestinian people as Land Day. That day, six Palestinians were killed and more than one hundred were wounded while protesting against the confiscation of 2,000 hectares of land in Galilee. Since then, land is not only geography: it is identity, heritage, right, and future. Whoever seizes the land attempts to seize history; whoever defends the land defends the continuity of a people.

The Palestinian struggle did not begin in 1948 or 1967. Its roots lie in a longer history of colonial fragmentation, imperial administration, and artificial reordering of the Arab space. UN Resolution 181, approved in 1947, proposed the partition of Palestine into two states and assigned Al-Quds (Jerusalem) to a special international regime. But that division resolved nothing: it inaugurated a sequence of dispossession, war, expulsion, and occupation that marked the destiny of the 20th century in Western Asia.

Therefore, when we speak of Palestine, we do not speak only of borders. We speak of the right of a people to remain on their land, of the legitimacy of their memory, and of the moral invalidity of all political architecture founded upon expulsion.

II. Palestine as the ethical center of world order

The Palestinian question has ceased to be a local conflict. It is the ethical axis of contemporary geopolitics. No international order can be considered legitimate while it tolerates prolonged occupation, settlement colonization, structural violence, and the selective application of international law.

UN Security Council Resolution 242, adopted in 1967, reaffirmed "the inadmissibility of the acquisition of territory by war" and called for the withdrawal of Israeli forces from occupied territories, as well as a just solution to the refugee problem. However, the world observed for decades how principles were proclaimed and then emptied of content by the asymmetry of power. That contradiction is not an accident of the system: it is one of its foundational laws.

Palestine concentrates the crisis of legitimacy of the international order because it exhibits, with brutal clarity, the distance between universalist discourse and imperial practice. Wherever law becomes selective, peace becomes fiction. Wherever justice is negotiated according to alliances, humanity retreats.

III. Al-Quds and the sovereignty of memory

Al-Quds, eternal capital of Palestine, third sacred place of the Islamic Ummah. It is a spiritual capital of humanity and a point of convergence of civilizations, religions, and memories. Its destiny cannot be decided by force, nor by unilateral decrees, nor by colonial narratives that attempt to naturalize occupation as if it were a fait accompli.

The sacred city does not belong to an empire. It belongs to the living history of the peoples who venerate and defend it. Therefore, the liberation of Al-Quds is not a symbolic gesture: it is a condition for the restoration of Palestinian dignity and for the moral decolonization of the international system.

In our vision, East Al-Quds (Jerusalem) must be recognized as the capital of the sovereign Palestinian State. This is not an abstract slogan, but a historical, juridical, and civilizational demand. Without free Al-Quds, there is no true peace; there is only administration of occupation.

IV. Western Asia and the end of Eurocentrism

We reject the expression "Middle East" because it does not describe a neutral reality: it expresses an imperialist-colonialist gaze centered on Europe. Our reference is Western Asia, the denomination that returns to the region its proper geographical place and its historical dignity. Naming correctly is an act of intellectual decolonization.

Western Asia is a decisive strategic space because of its position between Africa, Asia, and Europe, because of its energy routes, because of its civilizational density, and because of its centrality in the recomposition of the world system. The stability of Western Asia and Palestine is not a fragmentary matter; it is a question of interdependence. Regional fragmentation has been a tool of domination. Sovereign integration must be the response of the peoples.

From this perspective, the resistance of the Palestinian people is not an anomaly, but an expression of the political survival of the region against the logic of division, occupation, and war by proxy. Real security will not come from foreign bases nor from imposed pacts, but from cooperation among free peoples.

V. The multipolar horizon

The unipolar world has entered irreversible crisis. The 21st century advances toward a pluricentric structure, where several poles of power dispute the definition of norms, flows, discourses, and global balances. In this new scenario, multipolarity is not a diplomatic fashion; it is the concrete possibility of breaking the hegemony of a single center that for decades administered wars, sanctions, blockades, and narratives.

Our daily understands this transition not from geopolitical opportunism, but from the affirmation of the sovereignty of peoples. Multipolarity will only make sense if it translates into the right to development, respect for self-determination, an end to collective sanctions, and recognition of civilizational pluralism.

Therefore, Al-Quds Libération Daily affirms itself as an interpreter in Spanish of the new international architecture. We dialogue with Asia, Africa, and Latin America; with the BRICS and with the Global South; with the peoples who have suffered colonization, indebtedness, and war. Our loyalty is not with financial centers nor with media monopolies, but with the emancipation of nations.

VI. The informational battle

In the century of artificial intelligence, hybrid war, and post-truth, information is a territory in dispute. They do not control only land, sea, and sky; they also attempt to control the narrative. Contemporary empires are sustained not only by armies, but by agencies, algorithms, screens, and filters of legitimation.

Al-Quds Libération was born precisely to dispute that monopoly. Our task is not to reproduce the language of power, but to dismantle it. We do not accept that Palestinian reality be narrated by those who normalize occupation, make victims invisible, or present resistance as a disturbance of order.

Informational sovereignty is a form of political sovereignty. Translating our ideas into Spanish, Arabic, English, Persian, and Chinese is not an aesthetic nor commercial decision. It is a strategy of civilizational reach. We want a reader in Algiers, Tehran, Beijing, Cairo, Johannesburg, or Istanbul to access the same geopolitical truth without depending on the filter of the great platforms of the Global North.

VII. The pentalingual edition as a historical act

With the launch of the International Pentalingual Edition, Al-Quds Libération Daily breaks the linguistic borders imposed by the geopolitics of knowledge. This edition is not a simple editorial expansion. It is a bridge between political cultures, an architecture of sovereign communication, and a declaration of universality from Palestine.

Unifying five strategic languages in a single editorial piece means affirming that the Palestinian cause does not belong to a local public, but to world consciousness. It means weaving a bond between the Palestinian people in Gaza, the writer in Istanbul, the intellectuals in Algiers, the academic in Tehran, the journalist in Moscow, the worker in South Africa, the student in Mexico, and the reader in Beijing.

Our pentalingual edition symbolizes a rupture with media disinformation. Faced with the fragmentation of meaning, we propose convergence. Faced with censorship, we propose circulation. Faced with the monopolization of narrative, we propose an international community of critical readers.

VIII. The International Geopolitical Council

As part of this horizon, the International Geopolitical Council on Western Asia and Al-Quds is consolidated as a platform of research, analysis, and strategic thought. Its mission is to study the dynamics of regional and global power, denounce crimes against humanity, document processes of occupation, and elaborate a geopolitics of liberation.

We do not conceive research as a neutral exercise. All knowledge production responds to a position. Ours is on the side of oppressed peoples, of international law without double standards, and of the memory of victims. Our method is rigorous, but our orientation is clear: decolonize thought to defend life.

The Council aspires to become a space of confluence between popular diplomacy, geopolitical analysis, critical history, and cultural action. We do not want to comment on the world from outside. We want to intervene in its transformation from truth and historical responsibility.

IX. Development, sanctions, and dignity

The new order we defend is not built upon domination, but upon cooperation among equals. We reject the use of economic sanctions as weapons of collective punishment. We reject financial blockades that destroy entire societies in the name of supposed international stability. We reject technological subordination that turns peoples into dependent consumers.

The right to development is inseparable from the right to exist with dignity. No people can be free if it depends on the approval of powers that condition its access to resources, markets, or technologies. Economic sovereignty is an essential part of political sovereignty.

In that framework, the liberation of Palestine also means the recovery of an own capacity to rebuild, produce, teach, heal, and govern. We do not speak only of resistance; we speak of life.

X. The Think Tank International Geopolitical Council on Western Asia and Al-Quds

We enter our second decade with a greater ambition: to become not only a media outlet, but also our think tank of Al-Quds Libération Daily—the International Geopolitical Council on Western Asia and Al-Quds, a forum for dialogue and space for political formation. We want to produce useful thought for diplomats, journalists, academics, militants, and communities seeking to understand the world without the mediation of hegemonic propaganda.

Our International Geopolitical Council on Western Asia and Al-Quds addresses the multipolar vision of this new order of peoples, geoeconomics, energy, trade routes, food sovereignty, technological sovereignty, migration, human security, historical memory, and international justice. It will also analyze the strategic role of corridors such as Suez, hydrocarbon flows, Eurasian integration, and the transformations of the Global South.

We know that war and hunger are instruments of domination. Therefore, studying those tools of power is not a secondary academic task: it is part of the struggle for their overcoming.

Epilogue: toward 2036

This manifesto does not close a stage; it inaugurates a new historical responsibility. In the next decade, Al-Quds Libération Daily must be more than a voice of denunciation: it must become a platform of reconstruction, memory, and political articulation for a sovereign Palestine in a multipolar world.

We do not ask permission to exist. We exist because we resist, because we narrate, because we think, and because we remain standing. Our cause is not a passing claim; it is a historical truth that traverses generations. And our word, written from Al-Quds and for the world, will continue to be a tool of liberation.
